DESCRIPTION
Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club will provide equity members with a choice of two 18-hole golf courses.
The Pines is the only Arnold Palmer signature course in Australia and is rated by the Australian Golf Union as one of the nation's most challenging courses with a rating of 76. The proposed new golf clubhouse will be situated overlooking the lake adjacent to the 18th green. The Palms is designed around century-old groves of cabbage palms. Renowned golf course architect Ross Watson has been retained to re-design parts of The Palms in conjunction with the proposed development of the golf clubhouse on The Pines and the proposed renovations to the existing Country Clubhouse as the new Country Club. Pursuant to the proposed redevelopment the total area of The Palms will increase to approximately 80Ha (200 acres) which will result in a par 72 course measuring 6435 metres. The course has been strategically designed to offer a range of options depending on player capability, the higher the risk the greater the reward. |
